About Aryn Anderson

Aryn Anderson joined Play to Grow as a doctoral intern in 2015 bringing her enthusiasm, a passion for learning, and experience in sensory integration therapy and the DIR/Floortime model of relationship-based therapy. The children and families with whom she worked loved her and we happily convinced her to stay following her graduation.

Aryn’s philosophy of therapy is family-centered, relationship-based, and FUN! She believes in individualizing her approach to each child, taking into account the family’s priorities and the child’s unique strengths and challenges to develop a therapeutic program that is supportive, motivating, functional, and successful. With a wholistic approach, Aryn excels in working with children and adolescents with differences in sensory processing and emotional regulation.

When she is not playing with children, Aryn likes to spend her time exploring the Oregon outdoors with her fiancée, reading, and gardening.
